If you have to go to the city center by public transport, the cheapest way is the bus, just in front of the exit. The journey is 40 minutes, price 7-8 € one way.

Even the smallest icecream cone is huge! Very cheap too. Tiny place with long lines in the summer but the staff are very quick. Lots of other good icecream places nearby in Piazza Risorgimento though.
