Excellent coffee shop close to Checkpoint Charlie. They carry Five Elephant coffee, have a nice selection of magazines and provide space for working. More Soho than Mission. Great spot.

Don't order a Mojito. It's not on the menu. But they have 10 versions of Negroni. Their house specials are out of this world. Sit at the counter if you want to watch the bartenders perform their art.

Find the SciFi books in the back. Always good selection. Great guy running the store if you have any question whatsoever.

Great service, the guy in the bar noticed I wasn't happy with my beer and offered me a new one with no extra charge. Always nice with places where the bartenders care.
Incredible well stocked art, design, architecture & urban affairs bookstore. A bit highbrow but still very friendly and knowledgable staff...
Great value for money. We had the "Menu for two", a couple of beers and two carafes of sake. The total was less than 40 euro. I will be back :)

Since it's a private collection, you have to book in advance. But even the venue itself is worth the effort - an impressive/depressive Nazi bunker. Book 3 weeks ahead or try to squeeze in on a cncltn.
Entrance is through the Jewish Girls' School (!) on Auguststraße, big wooden door. The pork & avocado sandwich is indeed great, and there's galleries to check out on the higher floors, too.
Great space, nice interior, excellent flat whites and other kind of coffee, very solid breakfast and friendly staff. Improving this kiez a lot. Great to hang out there on a rainy Sunday and read.
Very informative panels illustrating the atrocities carried out by the Nazis. Depressing place. A must visit in Berlin for those who wants to know more.

If you are looking for a real cocktail experience, you need to check it out. Expect good quality and more fanciness than in other bars in the area. BTW the name comes from "El Ángel Exterminador" film
