Amber: Great beer bar with a rotating list of taps. Typically some fun funky options as well as a good assortment of local brews. Food is legitimately fantastic. Queso frito & sliders both highly recommended

Etan Horowitz: On a sunny day come here in the late afternoon, around 4 or so, and spend a while lounging on the grass and watching kids fly kites. Great spot for photos. Buy a passion fruit sorbet from the vendor.
CaribNews: The best beach in San Juan! Bring your own drinks, chairs and umbrella. Lots of security on the weekends. Come early as it gets packed weekend afternoons. If you want to have lunch head to Pamelas

Pablo Torres: This gourmet shop might seem pricey but its deli is one of the best lunch bargains around if you buy their food by weight. Just don't expect to lose any weight.
Melody Ewing: Do an earlier tour so you can see the mangroves and also have a better sense of direction navigating through the narrow lagoon. It will be dark on the way back so you get two vantage points.
