This is one of those "real New Orleans" local spots that tourists ask about, and then they get angry because they wound up "in the 'hood."
Definitely my favourite spot on Frenchmen. Not pretentious at all. Cheap drinks, great music, and not a lot of space so you'll make a friend.
The roast beef po-boy dressed with swiss was not only a value, but delicious beyond words. Definitely the best I've had in Nola and worth the sticky fingers. It's as if a sub mated with a french dip.
Williamsburg head would explode from jealousy if it saw how perfectly hip, ironic, artsy, and healthy this place is. In a good way. Love it.
