Travel Guide to Havana, Cuba

Cheryl: Tour guide took us here. Beautiful beach. Nice store in the hotel across the street with the most selection of merchandise I had seen anywhere in cuba

Ish Rai: Amazing lobster with risotto. Try and get a table on the balcony, perfect setting for a sunset dinner. Also take some nice photos in the old building, beautiful old staircase leading to the restauran

Ghazal Shishavani: Awesome ambiance in a very small place. We had the seafood dish for 4 which was great. Daiquiris and Mojitos are in served large glasses. The staff are helpful and nice like anyone else in Havana.

Jas: Try the terrace on the 3rd floor, tapas and piña colada are excellent and good value for money. Barman was super nice (and refilled our glasses)!

Lisa Starbucks: Pretty square with a nice church. Don't forget to climb up the bell tower to get a beautiful view from the old town!

Martina Hájková: Theatre is after complete reconstruction and it's wonderful. Visit 5 cuc, performance 30 cuc for foreigners.

Carl Griffin: Join the locals in the evening to drink rum on the sea wall.

natalie kay: Wonderful way to spend an afternoon! Inexpensive prints in the museum shop.

Cuba Travel Network: Go here in the evening, when the sun almost sets; the view over Havana is amazing. At 9pm each day a cannon ceremony is held. Sometimes in the weekends there are concerts; try to go, great atmosphere!

Yasemin Basatli: One of the best shows I have ever watched, and also you can have a chance to dance with the dancers ;)

Nico Pitney: "Social epicenter of Havana, with pink slabs and stately palms. Statue of Jose Marti erected 10 yrs after his death. Baseball fanatics gather near the statue to talk. Nice hotels encircle the park."

Kayleigh Harrington: Great outdoor seating to enjoy people watching in the plaza. Skip the iced coffee and get a traditional cortadito.

Cohabitationers: Bring a bathing suit and enjoy the pool, a daiquiri and amazing views of the city, including El Captiolio (currently being renovated). Another good spot to get a wifi card for an hour or two.

Jyoti Gill: one of the coolest art warehouses i've been to. definitely go here. worth the wait in the line

Fodor's Travel: Modeled after D.C.'s Capitol building, the Capitolio in Havana is the home of Cuba’s legislature. The outside is worth a look - some 30 bas-reliefs on the main door depict events in Cuba's history.
