If flying out of the American Airlines terminal, arrive early because as soon as you take train shuttle to concourse the security line can be an hour long or so looks at first from main hall deceiving

I you're parking in Long Term Parking, try to park on the northernmost end of the 2nd level. It will put you right at the walkway to the terminal. Avoid the creepy shuttle on the 5th level.

Rhett EphgraveOctober 22, 2010Here's what to do: get up at 4:45 a.m. to do a product expo at work. Don't eat anything all day. Go straight to the Bacardi bar in Concourse E and start drinking. Sleep like a baby all the way to ATL.

Beautiful new SWA terminal. Enough eating options but none that fit my taste. I like healthier eating.

Raffi KhatchadourianJuly 8, 2013If you've rented a car from one of the in-terminal companies and need to fill gas before returning the car, set your GPS for a nearby gas station instead of the airport. There're no stations enroute.
Great airport. Easy to find your way around. Good selection of shops and restaurants.

Papi SorrelisDecember 11, 2012If you land in A, you must take a shuttle by security to cross airport. REDO a painful security process & then be left w/ way less options than the F side. If you can hang out in F before you go to A.
I highly recommend you try the airplanes! They are a must have and I get one EVERY time I come here!

J BJanuary 28, 2018Make sure you arrive at least 120 minutes before departure as TSA-screening is often very congested and slow at all times!
Active Duty military get free baggage and can use the first class check in line when flying United. Also use the TSA pre line with your AD CAC card.
It has improved a lot within the past year. It compares to some of the big city airports!

Free WiFi. .. love the black leather chairs. Nice way to relax before going thru security to your gate.

Free wifi, large seating areas and easy to get through. One of the best airports I've been to.
The greatest airport in USA. Bring your computer or NYTimes, find a comfy chair, computer terminal and enjoy.
