- Long, really long sliding walks... especially if you're going to the J concourse
- Eat some Cuban food at La Carretta in the D terminal at the Miami airport. Yummy!

- Christopher AtkinsNovember 10, 2010Fast & easy passport control & customs but these Green, Yellow, and Blue dot trails are silly.

- Peter MarreckNovember 10, 2013This airport has an incredibly shitty layout if you like exploring and hate security. Don't even bother trying to get over to the newTerminal D North unless your flight is departing from there :/
- Shawna HowellJuly 13, 2013Last time I was here. I watched a mouse scurry around the carpet at my gate. Disgusting. Just connect to your next flight or hurry to the beach. Don't linger about.
- What a dump. This place feels like a third world country. TSA is very outdated. Concourse H has mediocre dining options. What a sad experience for such a great destination like Miami.
- Don't check a bag, this is airport has the longest bag retrieval time
- A bit difficult on MIA's hometown airline ... Great service on today's flight (440) from san francisco
- Shane BellamyApril 24, 2011The staff arthritis domestic American Airlines check in area are worse than useless - ignore everything they say and sort stuff out for yourself. You may get to where you want to go that way.
- Natasha WDecember 16, 2010if you have a longer layover, go to the bus center near terminal E for a 2.35 express bus to miami beach every 30 min.
- Make sure your bag is 50 pounds please. You can slide with 51-52 that's all.
- Jeanine R.July 7, 2011If your flights arrives early prepare to sit on the Tarmac. The entire airport is a shut show.
- South Beach ICE BOX now open next to D11. Great food and reasonable prices. Wow.
- Whits EndFebruary 6, 2015It's an absolutely horrible maze. If you rent a car, have one person go to baggage claim and the other to rental car. So far away!!
- Tia KimJanuary 18, 2011Before going through security, go to La Carreta for a Cuban. After the checkpoint, there's another Carreta at D21. Otherwise go to Versailles. They are owned by the same people.
- Antonio RodriguezMay 8, 2012If u are here cashing a flight to Cuba this will be an experience you will never forget.
- Helen HodgsonSeptember 29, 2011I noticed a floral arrangement "All we need is love" today when I was waiting for my flight back to Los Angeles Did you spot it?

- Immigration lanes could be really long, be prepared to stay long there.
- ricky lacyMay 13, 2012Be prepared to walk. U need a rental car to get from terminal to rental car center.
- Nu Age LimousineDecember 9, 2011If your picking up intl and your late, don't rush its at least a 90 min wait until the passengers come out
- Allow a LOT of time to check in on American - queues for all classes of travel exactly the same speed (glacial)
