this airport is very confusing a lot of the workers dont speak english so make sure you know where you are going or ask someone who looks like they do.

It is faster to walk to all the gates than to use the SkyTrain! Avoid it!
Wear comfy shoes and be ready to hike. Wherever you got dropped off... your gate/plane (or car if you just landed) is miles away.

What a dump. This place feels like a third world country. TSA is very outdated. Concourse H has mediocre dining options. What a sad experience for such a great destination like Miami.
Don't check a bag, this is airport has the longest bag retrieval time

Make sure your bag is 50 pounds please. You can slide with 51-52 that's all.

South Beach ICE BOX now open next to D11. Great food and reasonable prices. Wow.

Nu Age LimousineDecember 9, 2011If your picking up intl and your late, don't rush its at least a 90 min wait until the passengers come out- Allow a LOT of time to check in on American - queues for all classes of travel exactly the same speed (glacial)
