Breakfast at The Counter is pretty decent, but get your coffee at Starbucks directly across instead.

Waited over 45 minutes after landing before a gate finally opened up for us to deplane. Ridiculous.
This airport is ready to go at 5am. Feels like 12pm, everythings is open and ready.
They are usually strict about the 2 personal carry on items

American has crappy amenities and a terrible check in service but the staff at the security lines helped us get to our departure gate fast. Service to Canada is really prompt.
If you are flying out on Delta you will be at the H gates. If you need to transfer to AA you will have to go through security again. :(

Go to Booklink on Gate D21, if you buy a something you get wireless access... do not pay 5 dollars for 30 minutes for airport access :)- If you are arriving on a late flight have your ride pick you up at departures No crowds
Sunday is The worst day to depart. Be prepared, come in drunken and bite your tongue!

This is one of my least favorite airports. Future trips will be flown into Ft. Lauderdale.
