Take the bus to the city. It's only $15 but plan for an hour trip.
If flying Delta show up late -it's the only way you'll move through security at a reasonable pace.
Some security checkpoint lanes have the X-RAY machines and others don't. OPT OUT!
Third trip to JFK based on 24 hour flight/delay cancelation. Third time's a charm.

Watch out for the blue stream going down the aisle from the overflowed toilet.
The news stands will sometimes have metrocards for sale. Keep in mind that busses take coins or metrocards only - no bills.
T8 could use some more food choices at the remote concourse
Apples LMay 15, 2014The TSA WORKERS are apparently paid to much, they are so mean and impatient with the elderly they are sarcastic and disappointing. What a horrible way to welcome and greet travelers!
Legend's Sports Bar is terminal 3 has a pretty good b'fast! All the security people are trippy looking in this terminal though...
