- If you're taking a train into the city with a large group of people (like a scout group) DON'T MEET ON THE PLATFORM LIKE THE IDIOTS I SAW YESTERDAY. Completely blocked people from getting off!
- If you've got time to kill and they kick you off the steps there is a waiting room with wooden pews and free wifi in the northwest corner.

- The city's greatest train station. Don't miss the food hall.
- Look at the ceiling in the Main Concourse. A single dark patch remains above the Michael Jordan Steakhouse, left untouched by renovators to remind visitors of the grime that once covered the ceiling.
- This is one of my favorite places in the city. There's something magical about the place.

- Elaine MarchegianoJanuary 23, 2012Jackie O was instrumental in the renovation of the terminal. It's a beautiful building and the main clock is a popular meeting spot.
- The rite aide sells much cheaper beer then the carts or other stores do for your night cap on the way home! 2 dollars for 24 oz pbr!
- Out of towners: this is much more than just a train station -- it's a beautiful piece of New York history.
- There are tennis courts here at GCT, although under renovation right now. Try to get some tennis in -- I hear they're uncovering the windows for the first time in 70 years!

- Plenty of good food to be had here. If you are in a hurry, go to Shake Shack.
- If traveling to Westchester for the weekend, leave Saturday morning - the station is less crowded and the trains are practically empty.
