- I had written off Magnolia's... until I tried their Grand Central location. Replace "stale cupcakes" and "waiting half an hour for them" with "instant, fresh, and delicious." Bon voyage, mon ami.
- Beautiful building ; if you are waiting for awhile make sure to take a break in the metro north waiting room.

- Gorgeous ceiling in the main terminal area. Take some time to revel in it.

- Adrian GoodsellFebruary 3, 2015Dining concourse, far corner, Central Market. The grilled steak sandwich with onion and chipotle mayo is just perfect.
- Pay attention when you are walking around or you could possibly get trampled. In other words don’t have your nose is your phone.
- The constellations on the main hall ceiling are backwards. One theory is it's a medieval representation based on how God sees them. Another: the painter had the drawing at his feet...and did it twice.
- Most beautiful station in NYC. It's also the sister station to Tokyo Station, Japan.
- Quick and free cool: go by one of the arched passageways on the dining concourse by Oyster bar with a friend. Stand at opposite corners and hear each others' whispers loud and clear :) Read more

- Museum of American FinanceDecember 11, 2012Grand Central has been serving NYC since 1913. Take the 4/5 subway to 48 Wall St. to learn more about building America's railroads at the Museum of American Finance!
- If you are a tourist or a suburbanite please don't just stop or wander around aimlessly. People actually have trains to catch and you cause problems when you do this.
- Trans/intersex people should hit up the stationmaster's office. Very clean family bathroom with access controlled at desk.
- Go up the stairs on either side for a good photo of the grand hall.
- Don't wait until the holiday weekend (or summer fridays) to buy your ticket! Stop by a day or two before and you'll avoid the long lines.
- Historic. Bring your camera and shoot the ceiling. Great for die hard history buffs. FDR used to have a personal railroad under the station.
