Favourite yoga place. Not too hippy dippy, you will definitely work hard and feel it after. Great instructors, good playlists, donation-based Vinyasa. Arrive 20 mins early to get a spot.
Candlelitvinyasa is awesome. If you are new, come early and grab a spot by the window - the bars are helpful to grab when losing balance. Make sure to drink your water starting 3-4 hrs before class!
Get your sweat on! Go for the 30 day hot yoga challenge for $90 and if you complete it you get 2 weeks for free! Also they have free locks with a valid ID.
Doesn't get as crowded as the St. Mark's location. Plus the studio is newer and cleaner. We love the morning classes here- sun shining through the windows, quietcalm, plants hanging from the ceiling.
Lets just say this is my new third home (weekends). The instructors will make sure to work with you all the way-they're great. Make sure to bring your iced cold water!!! No judgments-BE YOURSELF!
Alyssa is a great instructor, but a true water nazi. If you take a sip at the inappropriate time she will call you out. Despite her demands, and knowing my body, I took the reprimanding over fainting.
Drink a lot of water and wear shorts!New students should try to arrive 15-20 minutes early.Have fun! There is no judgement, no fashion show...just a great workout and great people! All bodies rise!
Remember to get here excessively early in January-New Years resolutions are packing this place tighter than the Manhattan L at 8:30! Amazing nonetheless.
A great place to fit in a workout for all Fall IINto Action conference participants! Check out our NYC Healthy Living Guide on fitness for more info. Read more
