- This aiport is gorgeous! The rennovation turned out extraordinary! Kudos to the city of Houston!
- Pappasito,s cantina is the best! I love having a local Houston restaurant in the airport. If you crave tex mex this is the place to go!
- go to the international terminal (gate 1-5) to enjoy a quieter experience. The Peet’s coffee located there is better and you have more food choices than the main terminal

- Houston’s smaller airport. Easy to navigate and great food options.
- Don't use the drop off section of the airport. You have to carry your bags downstairs. Just go to the arrival part & go right to baggage check in
- Good craft beer to go down by gate 20. left hand nitro stout and real ale devils backbone
- Belinda RickmanSeptember 14, 2014Be sure to check your boarding pass. If it says TSA PRE you can skip the long security lines. Go start thru security without taking shoes off and the line is really short.

- Hobby finally has upgraded the terminals and better food places have been added! If you're running late Subway has been added and is serving breakfast (at normal prices too)!
- DoubleTree by HiltonSeptember 27, 2011Keeping liquids in checked baggage is always your best bet, but if you aren’t checking luggage, predetermine how much liquid security allows and plan ahead to avoid losing your favorite shampoo!
- Eco park 2 is the best place to park. Only $8 a day and it is right next to the terminal door.

- Hobby is not like Austin Bergstrom. To check bags in to Southwest Airlines you need to do it before 45mins of departure. In Austin it is 30mins. Otherwise your bag will be marked "Late Checkin".

- Love flying out of Hobby. It's much more calm than IAH, and the Southwest staff is always so friendly & helpful

- If you are picking up someone, tell them to meet you outside all the way down. (Across from the taxi stand). Less congestion.

- Josh HowardJanuary 5, 2013This particular plane has a maintenance problem. I just want to go home. So, my tip, I guess, is to let off some steam by cursing the gods of flight for slowing you down.
- In and out very fast here and sporting the friendly service of Southwest Airlines.
- Though the airport is thumbs down in neatness, handling security lines is good especially for frequent travelers.
- Skycaps work for tips that's how they make their living. According to the skycap who checked me in at the curbside service for southwest. So tip.... If they did a good job

- Please save the chairs with Power Outlets those who need the hard-to-find electricity.
