go to the international terminal (gate 1-5) to enjoy a quieter experience. The Peet’s coffee located there is better and you have more food choices than the main terminal

Long flight? Peanuts are okay, but bringing a filling, healthy snack like almonds or fruit will keep you tied over until your destination. For more travel tips and fun, follow @DoubleTree on Twitter!

Don't use the drop off section of the airport. You have to carry your bags downstairs. Just go to the arrival part & go right to baggage check in

Be sure to check your boarding pass. If it says TSA PRE you can skip the long security lines. Go start thru security without taking shoes off and the line is really short.

Free refills on your black/green iced tea at Peet's. Next to gate #40. Makes the price a little easier to handle. Tasty too.

Keeping liquids in checked baggage is always your best bet, but if you aren’t checking luggage, predetermine how much liquid security allows and plan ahead to avoid losing your favorite shampoo!

Hobby is not like Austin Bergstrom. To check bags in to Southwest Airlines you need to do it before 45mins of departure. In Austin it is 30mins. Otherwise your bag will be marked "Late Checkin".
