While you will pay dearly to eat here, it is so worth it for the $1 oysters before 5pm & beautiful views. You can also see the dancing lights of the Bay Bridge from most tables. Excellent food & bar!

The prawn cocktail was good and my main meal. My husband enjoyed the salmon. I usually order shrimp (without the head) or scallops at a seafood restaurant and they did not have any options for me.

Get there early (ideally around 3:30pm) to snag seats in the lively circular Oyster Bar with its large windows, or on the outside terrace with its more open bridge and bay views.

Heering cherry liqueur instead of the Maraschino cherries and
club soda as a throwback. The benedictine is there to add a bit of an herbal
