Hungry? You're just steps away from Reading Terminal Market (12th & Arch Streets), a one-stop shop for everything from local produce to cheeses, cheesesteaks, hoagies and pretzels.

There are no ticket machines at this station. They close early on weekends. The morning information staff is more helpful and friendly. Check out the neat mosaic while you wait.

If you buy a day pass for the train at market east make sure youre buying the independence day pass. The other day pass is only good for subway buses and trolleys. The independence pass covers it all

Ride the new Silverliner V trains even if it's not going where you want to go. The train is so much nicer than the old ones.

If you're entering from the gallery on 10th and market, the gates close at 7:30pm you have to go around and enter at 11th

On Sundays the ticket office does not open until 8am. Get your tickets and passes ahead of time!

Once you get past the people sleeping on the floor and urine smell it's really quite cozy.

If you miss your train, kill time at the Fieldhouse.

If your taking the airport train...expect it to be late...it's very rare to b on time

Be prepared to be approached by people telling you they lost their train ticket or are $3 short of a ticket. C'mon dude, you think I haven't heard that story 6 times already tonight.

Stop at Good 2 Go for a quick drink or snack.

Don't fall asleep when taking train... U might miss ur stop and end up at the last stop...
