Great hike, well worth the views and peace and quiet. However from Sorrento, getting to Agerola / Bomerano and escaping from Positano is/was a nightmare on the Sita buses. Sorry but true!

Awesome walking ! It is nicer if you do it from Bomerano to Positano : you will walk viewing the sea. There is a parking close to the church. Be careful there is no bus from Positano to Bomerano!

Absolutely amazing. It is not an easy hike, I would def recommend the right equipment. It's so worth the views, plus is so peaceful and quiet (we did it in winter). Also I would walk back to Agerola

A must hike in the area. Easy to do especially the downhill. You get great view of the coast along the way. Make sure you have settled down how to move around the villages. Bomerano quite far.

So beatiful! Go early or late to avoid the crowds and wear good shoes, preferably trekking boots. Active trekking time is circa 3 hours and then 1/2-1 hour additional break time/photos/water breaks

Stunning walk. Start at the Bomerano trailhead around 9AM and you’ll reach Positano by noon. 90% of the trail is downhill in this direction. You’ll pass through Nocelle before reaching Positano.

However views are truly amazing and worth it. It took me 4h from Agerola to Nocelle with stops for rest/pics. From Nocelle onwards there's a bus even on Sundays (just follow the signs). /pt2/

Amazing views! Start in Bomerano for a slightly more downhill hike, and make sure to pack water and snacks. Takes about 3 hours.

There's plenty of water during the first hour from Bomerano, you can definitely pack empty bottles if you are sensitive to weight.

I don't recommend this hike for non-athletic people and be sure to have right gear (not sneakers or sandals!) and pack water bottles and sandwiches. This is a serious hike not a walk! /pt1/

Fantastic views, but come prepared, path is rocky so appropriate shoes required.

In high season, avoid early mornings (when everybody is there) or lunch time: it gets HOT here!
