    We definitely don’t feel safe here any longer. A murder in broad daylight in the heart of King Street. So many stores closed and abandoned. No thanks, Charleston certainly has gone mad.

    No longer a safe area. Crime has been out of control in the Historic District for quite some time now although the City does a great job keeping it quiet so as not to harm tourism!

    Check out King Street every 2nd Sunday of each month! Traffic is closed to vehicles as local vendors and pedestrians take over a stretch of King for one day out of the month. Read more

    No good shopping any longer. So many restaurants and stores permanently out of business and abandoned. Incredibly dirty.
