Great Wiener Schnitzel, served with potatoes in a friendly and quiet environment. Forget about Figlmuller and the queue of people on your neck. It's quite pricey at 17.50 but the quality is superb.
We tried to go for dinner without a reservation around 8pm one Wednesday night but were turned away. Went back for lunch the next day. Great schnitzel, cutecozy atmosphere.
Gasthauses—or taverns—have long been known for staples such as vealschnitzel and Wiener Würstchen (sausages). Pöschl is among the best. In summer, tables spill out onto the Franziskanerplatz.
Wiener schnitzel and asparagus with bacon&cheese were absolutely delicious.Don't spend you time waiting the queue for Figlmueller, skip it and come here.If the weather is fine, ask for sitting outside.
Cash only tiny restaurant, very traditional. I had a nice schnitzel and potatoes salad. No wifi or phone reception inside. Bring your coat and umbrella if cold/raining as toilets are outside.
Only cash, no wifi and rude waiters. Everybody thinks that this place is a local restaurant, but it is kind of a touristic actually. Potato salad was good 👍🏻
