    1910 年竣工の木造 2 階建入母屋造瓦葺、下見板張の建物で、館林城二の丸での新工場建設時に本館事務所として建てられた。小屋組を基本とした和の技法に基づく内部構造を用いつつ、外観は洋風に倣った擬洋風建築。暖色の壁面に玄関ポーチの銅板屋根がいい色彩のアクセント。「モスリン」は漢字では「毛斯綸」と書き、日本では羊毛による平織り薄手の毛織物を指す言葉。

    【群馬県指定重要文化財】指定名称は「旧上毛モスリン事務所附棟札」...明治41年から43年にかけて建てられた木造二階建の擬洋風建物で、上毛モスリン株式会社の本館の事務所として使われていたものです。
