- Cheen The CuriousJuly 2, 2014Bostock takes 3-5mins to prep. Adapted fr European style, replacing brioche w bread. Sliced almonds on Frangipane (almond, sugar, butter & flour spread), dusted icing sugar. Source: ieatishootiblog
- pin leeNovember 15, 2014Excellent ambience considering the price. Nice aircon respite after roaming kampung glam. Old school custard cream puff and chocolate eclair. Friendly service .
- Alexander LobovJuly 27, 2014A bit manufactured but pleasant nonetheless. Good start for the uninitiated. Bostock (almond toast) with kopi is indeed excellent. Level up by going to the real old coffee shops in the Lavender HDBs.
- Dora ChooOctober 18, 2014This is the Bostock. Takes a while to be prepared, so you'd haf to wait awhile. It tastes like the sugar toasts that I ate as a young girl, but taken to a different dimension Cuz of the almonds. Yumz
- Eileen LinJuly 26, 2015Simply yummy cakes, pastries and nostalgic Kopi n teh ! Egg is marvelously done ! Great place to have Kopi n teh n remb to try their bakery ;)
- grannypurseOctober 26, 2018This blast-in-the-past coffee place brings me right back to my childhood! Think butter cakes, chocolate truffle cakes, cream puffs and the good ol’ kaya butter toasts!
- Myke LeeJuly 13, 2013Nice nostalgic ambience and friendly service, however, the coffee lacks kick and fragrance unlike traditional kopitiam ones. Similarly, the teh is also too 'thin', overpowered by the condensed milk.
- Ted Patrick BoglosaDecember 22, 2015Delicious homemade jams. The bread and butter pudding is a must try. Get yourself a hot cup of kopi c.
- Perfect soft boiled eggs, crisp kaya butter toast & Kopi. Like everything here. Taste nice & consistency.
- Elizabeth LeeDecember 3, 2016Lemon roll had cream that was a bit too stiff but the apple aloe vera cake was soft, moist and creamy. Teh was alright. Love their interior decor.
- Ian ThomtoriNovember 24, 2013The bostock is not in the display case. So do order separately. The best food item here. #ThomtoriEats
- TingJanuary 21, 2014Commoditized nostalgia or re-energized tradition? Certainly not the best toast and kopi in town. For those looking for remnants of the old to judge.
- Surprising, this butter toast with almond flakes is rather good 😊 coffee's not bad too 😊
- Haven't been back for a while , my favourite rum cake seems to have lost its oomph 😩 somethings not right or ingredients been compromised 😳
- Dora ChooOctober 18, 2014The decor doesn't really scream colonial... They try really hard tho with some artefacts...the coffee and tea is like Ya-kun 😝. Service is good😝
- Loving the Lamingtons here. Only place in town for this. Try it!
- James PapayaApril 15, 2013The butter cake is not as smooth as it could be but it's very light and melts faster than you can say lard.
- Janie ChuaOctober 26, 2013Great job in reviving the old school ambience. But service needs a lot of improvement. Tables were piled with dirty cups and plates. Crew behind counter was so disorganized resulting in a long queue.
- Try the freshly made bostock! Great with a cup of kopi or teh!
- Kevin WongJuly 12, 2014Teh was disappointing. Very diluted. But food made up for it. Bostock was recommended in the reviews, for good reason.
