No complaints. Platinum upgrade on pts stay Sat-Sun. Reasonably large size rooms for the city and the recently renovated rooms are nice and comfortable. Easy walk to grand central - will stay again.- Good place to stay for SPG Platinum tourists w/ Suite Night Awards: Use them here and get a Junior Suite with view at Chrysler Building. But don't expect hight plat recognition (this is NYC after all)

Rooms here at the Westin are generally bigger than NYC W's for the same price. Great location just a couple blocks from Grand Central. Duane Reade conveniently located around the corner. Nice spot!

CherylJuly 8, 2015Upgraded to a comfy king bed in corner room. Westin workout service is ridiculously slow - 1 hr to get all requested gear correct. Otherwise tranquil hotel unlike SPG Times Square properties.
- Internet here is comfortably fast! (Not like in other Starwood hotels in Europe where "high speed Internet access" is often comparable to 1998 modem speed.)
AlekseyMay 31, 2013Clean and nice with a fresh and pleasant smell in the rooms. Rooms are a bit small, but accurate. Biggest drawback? Paid Internet. Come on, it's 21st century. Don't nickel-and-dime your visitors.

Cannot recommend the $10 or more for a can of Spindrift types of drinks in from the lobby.

Location is perfect, & beds are comfortable. But rooms can be noisy, & room service is sloppy. However, it's currently half the points of other Westins for SPG Free Nights, so works out well.
