I like this bar....its a blue collar bar...not a prissy lets get super dressed up and pay 3x the amount for drinks. Its a bar...not a club and so far the service has been great.
I overheard a waitress telling a trainee how to lie when claiming tips. I understand that happens, but have enough class not to say it within ear shot of customers!
Only reason to come here is the free shuttles to various events. Food was good but service was piss poor. Eat somewhere else then have a drink at the bar waiting for the shuttle
Pure utter crap! Truthfully we only went there because it shares my name... I have never been so appalled by service and horrible food. Everything ordered tasted only of salt. Stay away!
I would never go here again. WOW, reservations at 11:15am and food brought to the table at 12:30pm. Ridiculous. Our wild rice soup was cold and chunky. I don't think it was cooked through at all.
I gotta say I've been here about 5 times w/ my softball team and the service gets worse every time. Is it too much to ask the waitress to walk around the table to take orders instead of making me yell
The Original Gabe's By The Park is a massive complex on the corner of Energy Park & Lexington Ave. Large wooden booths surround the bar in front for large groups, while game rooms in the back provide pool tables, golden tee, darts, and other arcade games.
