The churrasco alone is worth the visit. Add in half-price wines for happy hour and grab a seat in the small backyard garden and you're in for a wonderful treat.

The Flank Steak with Chimichurri is excellent, as is the Chivito Completo sandwich, which is layered with filet mignon, bacon, olives, onions, a fried egg, and aoili. Cash only!

Uruguayen restaurant with outdoor patio and happy hour every day from 5-7pm and during brunch hours... can't go wrong with a $15 bottle of Tannat!

This place is super warm and cozy! Great ambience, nice date spot. However, I did come on my own and sat on the little bar for quick drink and apps. They a good have happy hour. Highly recommend!

My husband had the famous sandwich which was filet, bacon, cheese, ham on a light fluffy role with amazing fries & aioli. The chicken liver pate was spot on- smooth creamy savory deliciousness!

Fantastic happy hour drink deal and the empanadas are DELICIOUS. Incredibly cute atmosphere and just a really lovely restaurant. HH starts at 5pm and goes til 7

Came at the tail end of Sunday brunch. Great service, food, drinks and value. Happy hour deals are good. Mate infused vodka drink was awesome. Can't wait to go back.

Mussles & the empanadas were finger licking good! They have a special sauce that has a good kick too. Their layered cookie dessert is awesome too! :) But bring cash bc they dont like plastic! Lol

Mon to Fri $6 happy hour cocktail. Mon to Tue Burger set with beer $15. I’ll give a 9/10 for the food and the vibe. Friendly server. My skin steak was $25.

The chivito complete is a MUST try at Tabare. The drinks are on point. Pricey, but worth it. Been here a handful of times and it's always an amazing experience.

Muscles, house made gnocchi & ravioli, octopus casserole, flan ALL SO good! Skirt steak: cooked well but a bit bland (blue cheese topped baked potato that came with = YUM). Go with a Uruguayan wine.

So dark in the patio had to use phones to read menu! Beef was a bit chewy but flavorful & cooked to perfection. . I would definitely go back. Incident at a table caused a 'stir' fun story to tell now

I can't even deal with how good this place is. Get empanadas to start, particularly the caramelized onions one. I will be craving the steak sandwich for days.

The empanadas really are the bomb diggity, but the entrees were so damn oily. If you don't wanna stare at your date in the dark, ask for a table in the back garden.

You MUST have the manjar del cielo (dulce de leche flan) and don't forget to try some Uruguayan wine too (we had the Tempranillo and it was very good)
