- Jon TrainorSeptember 30, 2012Great sushi! Big cuts of fresh fish. A bit on the expensive side but it was worth it. Got the boat for two and it was a little small so I recommend sticking with the deluxe rolls
- Rob MurcekSeptember 10, 2016Delicious sushi and nice ambiance (a pinch fancy). Good for dates. Good happy hour. They brought us gluten free, organic soy sauce :)
- Theresa MurawskiMarch 21, 2016The monkey roll and rainbow roll were fantastic! I also had a passionate kiss cocktail and it was amazing as well. The ambience is romantic and very relaxing.
- Victoria HernandezJune 27, 2016Everything is amazing! The dumplings were outstanding and the sushi rolls are the best! Definitely the best place for sushi that is also affordable!
- Paola MontelongoJuly 13, 2015The edamame is perfectly cooked and salted, chicken teriyaki is a really clean dish based on vegetables steamed al dente, and the duck is AMAZING
- FoodiesprAugust 6, 2015Love the Spicy King Crab Dinosaur Roll and the Aki Roll, good flavor and texture in both
- Ron and Sean the two bar tenders are amazing warm and friendly always! Best sushi on the upper-Midwest side; I love it here and have been coming here for years!
- I love this place but today I noticed that they already include tip with your bill so be sure to check your bill before you pay and include an additional tip!
- Sushi Yasuda is my favorite. Sushi Damo is #2 in Manhattan. The bar scene is also underated. Sean the bartender is the nicest, coolest, fun and warmest bar tender in town.
- Michelle CoudonDecember 13, 2011Try their specialty cocktails - the Shanghai and Butterfly! If you prefer to channel your inner Don Draper, the Old-Fashioned was swell too - served in a rocks glass over an ice block :)
- Ms HeleneAugust 18, 2015Sashimi platter $33. Skip the special rolls-$19 for salmon crunch roll topped with smoked salmon, avocado and tobiko
- Ron, Sean and Dominick are amazing!!! The food here is ridiculously delicious and they serve a better lycheetini than morimoto and nobu 57 combined
- Alyxa LeaseAugust 7, 2014They actually have a great sake list and legit sushi menu, hard to find a neighborhood rec in this hood but this place deserves it.
- Passion roll, happy hour until seven, and excellent service make this a great weekday sushi place!
- Eleonora CarisiSeptember 15, 2013Best Sushi in NY! Nice atmosphere and great food! Try the Tofu Salad so fresh!
- Joseph BartelsJanuary 3, 2015The sushi rolls. Spicy salmon very good. Rushed service -even with reservation.
- Mihai SerbanApril 16, 2015Miso soup very good. Salmon roll, tuna roll, philadelphia roll good but too gummy for my taste.
- M_AlexaSeptember 18, 2011Get the ocean chic roll, if you haven't had spicy scallop b4 u NEED to put this in your mouth!
- Eileen IrizarrySeptember 2, 2012Sean and Ron, and the rest of the staff are great!! Used to go here all the time.
- Cool bartenders drinks are great here! Try shanghai mmm delicioso
- Marisa FrancoJanuary 30, 2014DO NOT COME HERE.sushi was not fresh and very low quality. The tuna had a chewy jello texture if you can imagine and when I sent it back, the manager took it back with an annoyed look and no apology.
- Joseph StunziDecember 29, 2013We were disappointed by the food and service here. Everything came out fast and was prepared properly. That being said the flavor profile was bland. My chicken teriyaki was bland and unseasoned.
- Simon HSeptember 7, 2014This place is waaayy overpriced. For a much better sushi and value for money try Yasaka on 72nd. If you come here you are paying a premium for the location not the food.
