Dedicated to NY's maritime history, South Street Seaport is known for its water taxis and large boats. But stroll down the peer with an ice creamcone to feel like you’re almost on a beach boardwalk.

So sad that the original south street seaport mall has to close down because of hurricane sandy :(. The new south street seaport can’t compare, but there is a huge improvement - plenty of new stores!
