- Tina LDecember 18, 2010Get the lunch box! Be sure to order with an empty stomach. Also note the 12pm lunch start time.
- Wen-Pang PengNovember 2, 2009This is a Japanese restaurent located in East Village. It serve great soba and udon soup (hot/cold). I like it very much.
- craving something warm? then get nabeyaki udon..start with agedashi tofu and tatsuta age
- Ailie ChangJune 12, 2017Tempura was pretty good. Their noodles are great but the broth I got was mediocre so I would not recommend the garlic chicken.
- Susie SongAugust 8, 2011The lunch special may seem over priced, but it's SO worth the money. Also, the uni tororo appetizer is uhmazing.
- House made soba noodles. Consistent flavor and quality every time.
- fumio ichikawaJune 23, 2013Maybe it's a one off on Sundays but broth was too dark and salty. Didn't taste dashi at all. Not offering cold tea on hot day is unfortunate. Service is not as attentive as it used to be.
- get cold soba, they give you hot broth to add to the dipping sauce at the end for hot soup, so goodddd
- Melissa LeeMarch 29, 2010Best green tea ice cream i've ever had!!!! Wasabi ice cream is good too, very light and discrete.
- Russy C!March 26, 2010Quickly becoming one of my favorites! Traditional Japanese at its finest. Have the Orion beer with dinner if you're not doing sake.
- Jeff PetrielloOctober 17, 2010The pork belly appetizer is delectable. Wasabi ice cream is a necessary finish.
- yasai soba (veg but broth uses dashi) is a fav on a cold day
- Joan ParkJanuary 7, 2015was super disappointed by the soba noodles that weren't chewy at all and the flavorless soup.
- Other than soba, try Moriawase (Pick 3 kinds of Vegetable Appetizers) $12. great stuff.
- get the temdon set. amazing tempura and must have cold housemade soba.
- Giorgio ScherlDecember 7, 2009Go there - get Kamo-Seiro - get some Sake - look at the other guests - look at their appetizers.
