- Skip breakfast. Bring an appetite to try all sorts of grub. Persuade a bunch of friends to try different tents and sample. Eat in the waterfront park next door & relax and get s'mores if it's chilly.
- My faves: mighty Quinn's BBQ, la casa de camba salteñas, salud shakes, noshi "sushi," dough donuts, bk soda, veggie schnitzel, yuji ramen, hash bar to name a few
- Everyone knows the lobster roll is the thing to get at Smorgasburg. What the chicken and waffle from Buttermilk Channel Fried Chicken presupposes is, maybe it isn't....
- Linda SongJune 12, 2015Finally got to try Dough's donuts. Mmm. But Sticky Rice was the very pleasant surprise! Delicious peanut pork and great flavors!
- CristinaAugust 31, 2014So delicious! Try the mofongo at Mofongo go. So good! Nice view of the skyline. Long lines for some vendors if you arrived after 2.
- Toni HaberApril 14, 2014Go straight to the Grady's stand at this food market for the best NOLA style cold brew iced coffee. You can also find it on shelves at Fairway or online.
- Ale TowerJuly 10, 2016Huge variety of spots to choose from, albeit if you go with a veggie you'll notice their disappointment at the over abundance of meat spots vs almost complete lack of green stalls. Money to be made!
- Marcos AlvesJune 30, 2015Great variety of delicious and creative food. I do recommend the Scotch Eggs - awesome!
- Jackie ToddJuly 22, 2017Such a unique experience, you can find such a wide range of foods all in one area. Definitely worth a visit.
- Always tons of things to try at Smorg. I am partial to grabbing some jerkey, Brooklyn Soda Works, and some place serving shishito peppers.
- David LeszcynskiSeptember 12, 2016Super fun group of restaurants and people despite the heat the day we were there. Plenty of reason to visit again and again.
- Sarah KelleherDecember 29, 2013Believe this has ended for the season, but check the website for when it'll be up & running again in the spring -- great food and an excellent Sunday funday activity.
- amNewYorkOctober 20, 2011Food highlights include doughnuts from Brooklyn’s Dough (try flavors like blood orange and dulce de leche) and hot dogs from Meat Hook, brisket sandwiches from Mighty Quinn’s.
- Andrew ChoiOctober 13, 2014Super crowded, but don't let it deter you from all of the tasty noms like the fried fish & shrimp from Handsome Hank's.
- Christine HaFebruary 29, 2016Food exploration. Indoors at Sunset Park during winter. Try Ramen Shack. 🍜
- Serena WMay 5, 2012Leaving Smorgasburg? Take the East River Ferry back for a scenic view of Manhatten! $4/ride and you can buy tickets on the boat.
- Nandi AndersonSeptember 28, 2015Best food festival! Get a ramen burger! You won't regret it. Most places only accept cash.
- Go if you want to move at snails pace, lineup for a sandwich you could get in 5 minutes at the original restaurant and spend 4x the price of an ordinary brunch. People's Pops rule!
- AlyenaMay 30, 2015Start with a Naked Lobster (no bun) to save the room for the bbq brisket, ramen burger or smith else.
- NYShuk's handmade couscous with short rib and chickpea stew is excellent! Try their beet salad and dessert too. You won't be sorry.
- Time Out New YorkOctober 5, 2011Try Empire Mayonnaise Co.’s line of artisanal mayos, with more outré flavors available each week (foie gras, black garlic). It’s one of our #100best dishes and drinks of 2011. Read more
- Kathleen VargasAugust 26, 2016Everything was good but don't get the raindrop it's disgusting. Highly suggest getting the mangu with pork it's really good
- Steff HindSeptember 15, 2014Pretty much everything is delish... Try Bon Chovi, the Mac and cheese and grab a beer. P.s There is an ATM here, but always a line.
- Tracy WongMay 3, 2014Landhaus had no line and a huge porkchop with slaw within a toasted sesame bun, goodness! Vietnamese crepe was alright, even better tho their coffee was strong : )
- Dorien van LingeOctober 18, 2016Amazing view! The food is nice but there's too much choice and it's way overpriced. Nevertheless worth a visit!
- Great food choices, nice view to the city. Try the bao buns.
- Janice CongeeJuly 20, 2013Come early. As we left at 2PM, it was already pretty packed. Great place to chill, not literally in this heat, with a beautiful view
- If you're willing to brave some of the lines, there's absolutely nothing you can't find @ Smorgasburg. Most vendors offer samples before purchasing, so don't be shy. Great food education in general.
- Stephanie TaMay 3, 2014If you're in the mood for fresh seafood, try the Ca'pisci stand - fish skewers, stuffed calamari, grilled scallops etc.
- Duncan PJSeptember 4, 2014Blood orange doughnut from dough and coffee from blue coffee is a perfect match 😀
- L. T.July 17, 2015The lines. The crowds. If you're not into that, don't go. Or go by yourself with a game-plan. Otherwise good luck going nuts trying to find your friend as you trip on brunch-drunks and baby strollers.
- Kim PhamApril 6, 2013Spicy tuna ramen from Yuji and Big brisket sandwich from Mighty Quinn's. Don't say I don't guide you right.
- COOLHAUSJuly 15, 2012If there was a foodie heaven on earth, it would be Smorgasburg. Our fav place to grab lunch on Saturdays! Don't leave w/o grabbing some bacon from Landhaus!
- Dan SohaydaSeptember 23, 2016Unfortunate that it closes @ 6pm Saturdays due to the park cutting power. You can't beat the selection of foods. Brink a jacket just in case
- Louis BruscoMay 28, 2012This fast-expanding Brooklyn company adds chicory to locally roasted Porto Rico Importing Co. beans for increased sweetness. Dilute with water or, for a creamy café au lait effect, 2 percent milk.
- Rob BulloughSeptember 4, 2016Confusingly long lines for home cut fries but otherwise a plethora of amazing eats. Nice vibes too. Highly recommend
- Gilt CitySeptember 21, 2011Don't leave without trying a grilled cheese from the Milk Truck and savoring a barbecue pork banh mi from BEP. We also love the Blue Marble Ice Cream and grilled hot dogs from the Meat Hook.
- Get gere early, and don't bother coming if there's a chance of rain, as many vendors don't take the risk if the weather isn't nice. Milk Truck is a must!!
- Steph HApril 8, 2012Dogs allowed, and I think I spotted an ATM near the North mid-exit. Brooklyn Bean Co has a fantastic and super-filling lamb + white bean chili for only $7.
