- Lucille FisherNovember 28, 2016A fine discovery! Authentic Indian cuisine, one of the best I've had in NYC. The fried okra, paneer with spinach, and hot curries accompanied by the assortment of naans were outstanding.
- KinoDecember 23, 2014Ruchi is hands down the best Indian restaurant in FiDi. All North Indian dishes are 50% off during lunch. Their Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Eggplant Bartha, & Garlic Naan are delicious.
- Chetu19September 6, 2017Tbh, one of the best i have had in NYC. Lamb balti curry(MUST HAVE), Chicken Tandoori, Rice, Chicken Chettinad( Can skip this).Roti.Tip is included in bill which is FLAT 15%. Parking might be an issue
- Jean 💜August 5, 2013When you ask for spicy, you will get it. It may not necessarily burn in your mouth but the slow-building heat will definitely unleash its fury in your stomach. Be prepared with some dairy on hand.
- Certainly won't change your life, but good takeout option if you live in the area. Tell them to go easy on the oil, though. Can be a bit greasy
- Michelle WilesNovember 6, 2016One of the few places where I've been able to find good peshwari naan in the city. Saag Channa is bomb also
- M RJune 27, 2017Had passed by this place walking many times. Finally stopped in...so glad we did! Everything we had was delicious!!
- Niki GMarch 30, 2017Food is good, but the lassi I had tasted a lot more yogurty and was less sweet than I'm used to. Chais here are great.
- KaydeeMay 22, 2010Food here is delightful and not greasy/buttery like other Indian spots. Try dosas, samosas, chicken xacutti. BYOB makes it worth a visit but the delivery guy walking by all the time kills the ambiance
- Downtown AllianceAugust 29, 2010Traditional north and south Asian dishes. Rushi means "taste." Menu includes rogan gosh, exotic biryanis. You can get our free Downtown dining guide at http://www.downtownny.com/mapsguides/
- Love this place. Jalfrezi is favorite if have to pick. 50% off lunch dine-in.
- Arnon ShimoniDecember 16, 2016Portions sizes are decent, but we recommend taking a few and sharing between people
- Good tasting indian food with non touristy prices in a very touristy place.
- Vegetarians: chaana saag yum. Yellow daal yum. Garlic naan yum. Hari yum yum.
- Vania KMay 12, 2012Get the chicken vindaloo! White meat chicken cubes simmered in spicy curry = heaven.
- Eelain SteketeeJanuary 21, 2011shrimp curry, garlic naan, chicken tikka, lamb rogan gosh - all hits, all good.
- Chris BurbankDecember 15, 2013Food was ok. Hard to tell quality of the actual food because the spices were way over the top. After eating the garlic naan all I could taste was the insane amounts of garlic they put on there.
- Martin RidgersJune 30, 2013The food is good. It is hot no or little air conditioning and you may get what you ordered.
- Mikinzie StuartJuly 28, 2011Great Indian food! Never crowded dining in and fast delivery for takeout.
- paiSeptember 30, 2011Chicken vindaloo - borderline almost too spicy for me and I did not ask for up or down level spicy
- The Chicken Curry here is fantastic. The service is always great and food comes pretty quick. The appetizers are relatively underwhelming.
- Grace KangFebruary 19, 201050% off north indian dishes for lunch! And actual indian people eat here... Good omen!
- Dhanya PanickerOctober 1, 2018It’s not a clean place. Glasses were dirty. Curry doesn’t taste exactly like what it says on the menu.
- Carolina ArribasJuly 2, 2018The toilet was really dirty... disgusting, like they haven't cleaned it in one month... 🤢
- El OsoApril 11, 2013Muy bueno y barato. Desde mi silla antes se podian ver las torres gemelas; ahora se ve la freedom tower!
