Colorado lamb sliders. Just do it, you won't regret. Place has a nice selection of local beers on tap, the best place I've ever been to in an airport for sure.
Easily the best restaurant at the airport. If flying out of A or B gates this place is definitely worth taking the train over to Concourse C. Craft beer and delicious food.
I'm Super critical of places and thought the lamb sliders were great. Best food I've ever had in an airport. I took the train from terminal a to eat here
The lamb sliders, sweet potato fries with currylime sauce, and Colombian grilled cheese or corn cake topped with jicama pesto and chipotle mayo were insane! So good. But the pie was bomb- chocolate s
The lamb sliders, sweet potato fries with currylime sauce, and Colombian grilled cheese or corn cake topped with jicama pesto and chipotle mayo were insane! So good. But the chocolatesilkpie rocked
Worth a stop to eat no matter which concourse you're flying from. Fave airporteatery. The Concourse "C"aesar salad with smoked salmon. It's pretty & delicious!
Grab a booth overlooking the tarmac if you can, and make the most of your layover with a glass of wine and tasty nibble. The beet salad is remarkably good, especially with a slab of salmon on top.
Still my favorite airport restaurant. Great cocktail & beer menu. Lamb slider are the bomb. Most seats have an outlet to charge. They will also fill your water bottle before your flight if you ask.
Been two times. Impressed on both occasions. Table service was prompt and friendly. if you sit at the bar to use outlets to charge your phone. Food is Root Down HIGH quality deliciousness.
Lamb sliders were full of flavour. Beet shrub cocktail was delightful. Brisk service and good design. This is one of the better airport restos I've ever eaten at.
All organic and farm to table even for breakfast. Don't let this place get by you if you're in DIA! Amazing AlmondButtermilk Pancakes with RhubarbStrawberry Jam! Served til 2pm daily.
Maybe the best airport restaurant experience I've ever had. Delicious, local food (+ beer!) with lots of gluten-free/vegetarian options, plus great service. Favorite thing was Korean tacos!
Get ramen with bacon! They also made my order super quick and some food to go, so I could make my flight!!! Servers were also very nice! Best quality airport food in a long time!!!
The Colombian grilled cheese is airport menu for Arepas @ Highlands location, just as perfectly cheesy goodness. Green chili, kale salad are favorites. Frequent flyers sit at bar, great quick service
The sweet potato friends & dipping sauce that accompany it are the best sweet potato fries I have ever had! My Cobb salad was extraordinary as well. Such unique & succulent flavors across the board.
If you are running late, but still want the best food in the airport (by far) you can get anything on the menu TO-GO at the "En Root" desk up front. Took about 10-12 minutes & we ate it on the plane!
Pepper Blossomcocktail: incredibly aromatic, interestingly sweet, delicate burn at the finish, stimulates the senses. Loved the complex flavors of everything I ordered!
Beautiful space - natural light provided by the floor to ceiling windows stretching the length of restaurant. The bar decor is travel-inspired and fun to look at. Be sure to check out the globes.
The most pleasant place to eat at DIA. Design is out of this world and makes any travel experience glam. Lots of V and GF options, not to mention the cocktails. Cheers and enjoy!
Incredibly delicious. The gnocchi were a bit unconventional, but still delicious! The arepas, banana fosterdessert and hot chocolate are worth traveling to Denver for!
Got to the airport early and went out of my terminal to try this for breakfast. Worth it. The Tofu Scramble is great, and they have a solid craft beer selection
Great, local beer selection. I.e. Funkwerks Deceit. On the food front, they have nice sized, well presented plates. Salad with smoked salmon included healthy chunk of fish.
Root Down is the only reason I now fly Southwest. The food is amazing. Get the breakfast sammy if you're here in the am. Coconut fizz is delicious. The service could be better, more welcoming.
Check out the Spring Loaded water pouches at the quick service counter with clips for your bag! When you come back next time, you can refill for free at the water filling station. Genius!
Best beet salad I've ever had! Love love the setup and the "cubbies", great for biz travelers! And they have outlets! All airport restaurants should be setup like this!
Delicious, but pricey. Still, I prefer it over typical airport food. I've had a few iterations of their turkeybanh mi (once it was a sub, another time a burger) with sweet potato fries.
And of course the food is delicious. Lots of repeat items from the Denver Root Down location. Order the Devils on Horseback and a beer or craft cocktail!
If traveling solo, ask for the Travelers Tables towards the back. Good view of the tv and planes, outlet for charging devices, and extra space for your bag.
