Got to see some pretty awesome people on set. Security is tight And there is a no photo policy but hey. That's life :) definitely worth a visit even as a tourist. Such a beautiful deco building!
Rockefeller Center is the hub of Manhattan! It's the place to be and centrally located to almost everything. Packed with people all the time but the crowd is part of its essence
Historical and beautiful, Rockefeller Center represents NYC at its best. It symbolizes culture, tradition, business & history. Take a walk down the promenade downstairs, offers plenty of cafés & shops
In 2010, Tad Friend sought to achieve what had once been done by John Updike in 1956: to walk from the Empire State Building to Rockefeller Center without ever setting foot on Fifth or Sixth Avenue Read more

Come here to do the things that you've always wanted to do as a New Yorker but have always avoided because of tourists - ice skating, Top of the Rock, the tree lighting...the list goes on.
Love to come here during the changing of the seasons. There is always great things to do and plenty of nice restaurants. Make sure to visit The Top of the Rock to get a closer view of the skyscrapers.
Between Chinatown, Empire State Building and Times Square, if you haven't gone to Rockefeller Center, then you've never been to NYC. Winter is the skating rink, summer it's a place to dine al fresco
Go to the rooftop. Best view of NYC. One side you can enjoy a Central Parkscenic view, the other side Lower Manhattan and Midtown. Thus including both One WTC Tower and Empire State Building :)
One of the most complete and incredible Manhattan views will be seen from the Top of the Rock as the New Yorkers call it: the view from the Rockefeller Center!
If you like your bang for your buck, try dining at Rainbow Room-you get the view and food! A bit pricey, but if you think about the actual fare to go up the building, it may be worth it.
You must go up to the top of the rock during the day, the best view of all the city including empire state and central park! Take all the Rockefeller Center tour
Rockefeller offers scenic displays throughout the year, from Christmas Tree and Ice Rink in winters to a beautiful cafe in the summer. A lot of artistsperform early mornings!
If you’re going to go for a quadruple axel followed by a triple-toe-loop at the ice skating rink, a word of advice: it’s much easier to pull off while wearing skates.
Rockefeller Center is luxurious and impressive at first sight. On the other hand, The Top of Rock located on the top floor of the building has a 360° view of Manhattan. Indescribable experience.
Iconic plaza, but can get very packed when the tree is up. Take a trip around the corner and go up to Top of the Rock, they have the best views in the city!
It is an Icon! The views from the top are exceptional. The best place to see The Empire State Building, The Chrysler Building, The Freedom Tower, The Statue of Liberty, and Times Square.

One of the tourist spots of NYC so it gets really crowded especially when everyone trying to take pictures. Definitely check out the Top of the Rock, NBC store and Lego

This location is one of my favorite places to visit during Christmas to see The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. The tree has been placed here annually since 1933. Great memories!
Aside from being home to New York City’s biggest Christmas tree during the holidays, this Art Deco building offers stunning views of the city from the “top of the rock”.
If you're visiting for the holiday display, go early in the morning (like before 9am) and it will be comparatively calm (for New York). It looks bigger on tv.... But still pretty.
I once saw Ivanna Trump in a full blown bottega venetta suit in the ice rink doing her thang. I just about died. The only place to check out a Christmas tree bigger than the Griswolds. ;)
It's tricky to get decent photos due to reflections from the anti-suicide Perspex. You can get a small lens between the panels but anything bigger and you'll have to try your luck on the top deck.
My favorite place in NYC. Granted it is tourist hell, but the building itself is gorgeous. Go to the top of the Rock for some amazing views..especially at night. Well worth it.
