The Bitches say: B+. It’s a nice spot for brunch, but we’d appreciate more consistency in the dishes and a bottomless deal. The service, truffle fries and truffle Benedict make it worth a visit. Read more
LOVE the patio! Tucked away in the middle of Penn Quarter/Chinatown, this place is nothing like its surroundings. It's an oasis. Great place to bring visitors/out-of-towners.
The Chesapeake Eggs Benedict with crabcakes was great for brunch! The duckfat doughnuts, on the otherhand, were not all they were 'quacked-up' to be. Very crisp surface, dense and a heavy aftertaste.

the chorizo and mushroom tartines were so good we had to have encores :) they paired very well with the Francois Villard (Rhone, FR) 2012 Syrah and the Punto Final (Mendoza, AR) 2012 Malbec
Dessert menu is absolutely amazing! Pastry Chef Casto Unson is talented and extremely good at complimenting flavors and textures. Definitely get dessert!
One of my top 10 spots in the District. Skip the sparse charcuterie/cheese boards if your starting appetite is large. Best fall/winter dinner menus & perfect patio for summer cocktails!
Order the truffle fries and popcorn - so good! Also, note that there is essentially no restroom - you have to go through into the hotel and up to the next floor.
An easygoing mix of fun and sophistication, of trendiness and simplicity. There might be better places to impress a client, but few will make you more comfortable.
post modern bar/lounge by night. This unique interior and great atmosphere is a must experience. It's off-the-main-road location makes for a nice getaway spot with manageable crowds
Delicious for brunch. We had the Eggs Hussarde (poached eggs on potato skins) and of course, house made doughnuts (filled). My husband and I shared it all and we loved it. Can't wait to go again.
Not easy to access if you have a disability. The only ramp is 1 1/2 blocks from the valet parking and it was covered with snow and ice 5 days after the snow storm. Then, the door was locked.

Go to Poste, assuming it's a weekday between 4-7. If the weather's nice, sit in the courtyard. Order the $5 truffled frites. Have something to drink. Order the truffled frites again.

I went here for a late night scotch in the garden on 07/18. Corinne and I ran into lots of friends, which was awesome. Some who were not our friends were not awesome.
