Really surprised by the negative tips. I've eaten here dozens of times and the food and serviceare both great. One of my favorite restaurants in NY.

Surprised by bad reviews. Loved the restaurant. Steak and salad were perfect. Service was great. Atmosphere intimate and welcoming. Organic and veggie. Restaurant prices

A neighborhood fave. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, any time. A small place, can get crowded for dinner, and service can be on the slow side but never anything to get mad about. Chef run.

Excellent food and service, great atmosphere, and compliments of the chef throughout the meal. It's a winner in my book!

Nice steaks and fish but their organ meats appear to be the real star (although not for me)

I love the breakfast food here - try it for brunch, the egg croissantwich is really good! Also like sitting in the outdoor cafe

Like Le Monde, you'll feel like you're in Paris. But Picnic is a lot smaller and more intimate.

Try some of the Picnic cookies. The almond macaroons are amazing.

Decent food, AWFUL service esp. given the prices. Was served by 3 different disinterested waiters, more interested in chatting/wandering aimlessly.Took a herculean effort to get anyone's attention.

I really liked their ginger cookies and their fudgy, chocolate cookies.

There are much better places. Have been several times over the yrs & food is ok but pricey for what it is. Today I got charged the price of a bottle for one glass of wine; unconscionably bad service.

The coffee is a lot better than at Starbucks, and it's 20 cents a cup cheaper.

They have me the wrong info that bottomless brunch is until 5. Then they said it was the wrong info but they'll honor it this time. Then they come back and say never mind, we can't honor it... Smh

The place is overpriced with mediocre food. Salmon was severely overcooked and the beef was dry. Won't be back.

Terrible, 'evil giving' bored with work staff. Food was good but well overpriced. I was expecting more. Not coming back.
