The schnitzel is the go to option here. They top it with a delicious 'slaw which takes it up a few notches from the pub favourite with gravy. Beers are limited though, hipsters won't be satisfied.
Jess MartinJuly 15, 2013A good menu with enough variety to keep it interesting. Try the meatball sandwich for a starter and the cured meat plate is a decent serving. Lamb meatballs are spicy but tabouleh is a let down.
Fantastic new menu. Plenty of choice. The pork schnitzel sandwich is fresh and innovative. Better price points than the old Ivy Kitchen.
Was actually a very good quick lunchtime steak which was very tasty the venue is definitely in need of a Reno must be 15 years old and starting to show...esp toilets and soft furn.

The spot where Mad Cow was is now Palings, it sits just next to the main Ivy bar - so can be pretty noisy and crowded.
- Although it is only new, some staff look like they would rather be sleeping ... (Harsh? - but expectations should be high)
