LA finally makes good on true Tex-Mex (Aus-Mex, actually) style breakfast tacos and proper queso. Transplants will feel so at home, they'll think a trip to the Broken Spoke or SoCo will follow...
Amazing breakfast tacos. Splurge for the $1 avocado add for optimal tastiness. Pecos (brisket) and Trinity (BEC & potato) were both delicious, but the Neches with charro beans was perfection
Definitely try the "Migas". It's scrambled eggs with cheese and onions all mixed together and it is simply outstanding. I had the one with Chorizo, be sure to add a bit of the house made red salsa.
My favorites are the Trinity with pico and the Guadalupe, both on flour tortillas. Their queso is on point, so don't forget to get a side of it. Add on a pack of flour tortillas to dip in the queso!
go for the flour tortillas, they’re made in-house. my favorites: the trinity and the potato taco. then also order the migas, frito pie, and a big queso to share. green sauce on everything.

Amazing breakfast tacos. Not heavy, but filling. Some of the best guacamole I've had in town. Salsa is wonderful and spicy. Espresso is a wonderful roast.
2 Pecos tacos, 1 brisket taco, salsa verde. If you've lived in Austin, this place will totally make your breakfast taco day. House made flour tortillas guys.
Frito Pie in a Bag. Chili con carne joins shredded cheddar, crisp iceberg lettuce, diced tomato, tangysour cream, and tartpickledjalapenos, layered textures & flavors coalescing in the Fritos bag.
I loved Las Palapas in SA.. Texas transplant who is now vegan- not worth coming here, did NOT like the vegantaco. Others stated it was a legit Tx bkfast taco- more like taco cabana tho
