Great option for brunch. Loved their peppery Bloody Maryhomemade mix. Kalebacondip, grits, chicken and waffles. Bring your appetite and leave happy. Love the patio outside too for waiting.
Great all you can eat Sunday American comfort foodbrunch. While there aren't any real speciality dishes, every dish is cooked just right. The only problem is the 2 hour wait. Valet parking is cheap.
Very good home style southern dishes.Great selection of Bourbon if not a little pricey. Ask to see the “Brown Book” for the special bourbons.Incredible selection in one place! Chicken Fried Steak 👍🏼
Great food, cocktails, atmosphere, and service! I got the chicken almondine and it was delicious. 👌👌👌 We (4 ppl) went w/o a reso on a weekday and the wait was only ~20min. Def get a dessert too!
I have been loving place for years! Its the only restaurant I enjoy waiting for a table. Go to the bar area in the back and sit by a cozy fire while the mixologist prepares you something special.
Need a delicious "home cooked" meal? Look no further than the comfort food at Moonshine. Everything on the menu is heart warming and fulfilling! Drinks, Apps, Popcorn, Mac n Cheese, you name it!
This place is amazing. Nothing on this menu lacks taste. We did 3 dishes and split them. I recommend the meatloaf, Mac and cheese or the habanerosteak.
Started off w/the popcorn (delish). I got the pork chop which was juicy. If you have anything at this place - try to green chilecheese grits. You will thank your taste buds later!
Popcorn instead of bread is a unique touch when you sit down. Get here early on a weekday night to avoid a wait, and save room for their cast iron skilletdesserts!
Comfy southern decor with an outdoor patio and bar. Delicious southern cooking and excellent Silvermoon Margaritas. Can't go wrong with the chicken and waffles, corn bread, and large desserts.
The brunch is out if this world. Start off with an incredible $4 bloody or pomegranatemimosa, don't miss the candied yams, cornflakechicken, jalapeño sausage, king casserole and bread pudding.
Corn dog shrimp appetizer for $12 I would pass on these next time. It's just a shrimp on a skewerdipped in corn dog batter. If the shrimp was blacked or had flavor it would be better.
Sunday brunch is AMAZING! We were here on Easter and the food was delicious and abundant. I usually hate buffets because food gets cold but this buffet was out of this world. $4 bloody Mary's too!
Some others say that the trout is the best. We agree its great, but don't forget the jalapeño cheddar grits and the Dr. Pepper chicken- not to miss. Here, it's way too hard to save room for dessert.
Have been here twice & no one has left disappointed. Waterloo Compound is my cocktail of choice, all the food delivers (yummy green chilegrits!) Seems to be constantly packed, so make a reservation.
Flat iron steak was delicious and cooked as I like it. Very tired, juicy and satisfying even though it's a top sirloin cut. Atmosphere is great and very nice staff.
This place has the best brunch!! $17.95 for all you can eat. And it's SO good! Warm cinnamon rolls, broccoli cheese casserole, king ranch chicken...YUM!!!
Green Chile Macaroni is incredible! Very very tasty. I got a side of mashed potatoes and was underwhelmed. Very plain. The potato wedges were much better and had tons of flavor!
Came on a Saturday night. There was a long wait, so we got drinks at the bar beforehand. They were very good! Great food, great atmosphere, great service!
You can close your eyes, put your finger on the menu, and get wherever your finger lands. Trust me, everything's good here. Oh, try the green chile macaroni.
The Chicken & Waffles were great. The Shrimp and Grits disgusting. My guess is the Chief is not from the South and does not understand what Shrimp and Grits mean.
SUPER delicious food for very reasonable prices! You even get popcorn to start your meal. Try the Chicken Almondine or JalapenoHangar Steak. You actually won't be disappointed with anything.
The shrimp with blue cheese grits and wilted greens was outstanding. The seasonal white lightening my husband thought went down smooth, I didn't care for it however it did smell like cucumbers!
Sip on a refreshing cocktail while nibbling on fresh cornbread and enjoying the people watching. Then dive in to some of Austin's most authentic fare - chicken fried steak or mac 'n cheese.
Had never eaten here until a month ago. Ordered a beef fajita salad and subbed for chicken & it was quite possibly largest and tastiest salad I've ever had at a restaurant.
