Elizabeth GardnerAugust 13, 2016Venus and Mars pizza. Amazing. Chopped salad amazing. Calamari good. Fresh homemade tarter sauce. Lights above tables inside suck. Too hot. Too bright. Sit outside or away from lights.
Probably my favorite pizza joint in the area (fresh ingredients, great beers, great crust, drink specials, and they do Groupon often!) - but I don't recommend being in a hurry! Not fast service.
Split a craft pizza for the table and get a half size dinner portion of an entree for yourself - great Downtown Raleigh dinner value!

Michael HuberOctober 1, 2012Had the Venus-Mars pizza. It was really good. Also an appetizer of bruschetta was very tasty. Good ambiance.
Sit at the bar for better service, and try the turkey chili or big bang calzone and a Greek side salad.
Try adding fresh spinach to the Blue Moon. It's amazing.
We come here often & have never been disappointed. The Meza Luna calzone is great as well as the spaghetti!
Awesome Spinach Salad. Love the sun dried tomato dressing! I 86 the bacon and get walnuts.
Suggested pizza: olive oil and garlic base, fresh mozzarella, smoked (not Italian) sausage, red peppers, and bacon.
Monday's pizza by the slice at lunch is $1.00 off so they start at $1.50/slice.

Smoked sausage, Italian sausage, and yellow onion pizza is great.
Very, very slow during the weekday lunch hours. Make sure you have plenty of time!!

Half orders of most pasta meals are available. Just ask!
Seems like bowl and cup of turkey chili is the same portion size just different vessel.- Pizzas come with regular or thin crust. You have to ask for thin crust though!
Jackie B.February 21, 2013Only one waitress working with a packed restaurant and bar on Thursday night. The bartender took our order and never recorded it. Took forever to get our check.
If your waitress is Nicci, tip her really well. Also, the spaghetti is amazing.
Spinach salad, 86 the bacon, roasted garlic vinaigrette.
