It's not just a tower. There is a special meaning and history about this tower. I couldn't visit inside it. But i passed by tower on sightseeing bus and took pictures

The Miami Freedom Tower is considered the Ellis Island of the south. It is where where Cuban refugees were processed and helped after fleeing communism and oppression in Cuba in the 1960s. Read more
Completed in 1924 and once home to the long-gone Miami News; during the 1960soffices at the Miami Freedom Tower processed requests for political asylum during the first wave of Cuban immigration.
