Daniela RodriguezMarch 11, 2014Get here a little early and enjoy the outdoor dinning or watch the crew work on the plane. It's pretty cool to see how the plane gets serviced between flights.
Boathouse is nice for a pre flight drink. Bar is friendly. Delicious pickles with their cheeseburger.

Very convenient. Easy to get in and out. And good restaurants, too.
Cheap southwest flights to Vegas and the airport is Great you can get in and out really easy
The new teminal has a charging area for electronics with seats. Super nice.

Good job with the remodeling, except for the restrooms. I thought this country finally got the memo that 1/2" gaps in stall doors are NOT cool.The restrooms in the new TBIT at LAX are much more modern

Get here at the right time and the security checkpoint will be *gasp!* EMPTY. No rush, no fuss, you get through in less than a minute. Just another reason why I love this place.

New Security checkpoint has been expanded and modernized. Checking in made faster for what I always considered a hassle free airport.
From LGB you can go anywhere in Metro LA using public transport. We went to Staples Center for $1.85 each! Sure beats a $75 taxi ride.

This place is beautiful now. Great windows facing the Tarmac. Great restaurant seating. Wow. Amazing makeover.

💛Diane☕🍜September 17, 2014It is worth the extra money to fly in/out of LGB. Free wifi. Some seats have electrical outlets underneath.
Note: if you hop in a cab to leave this airport and the driver doesn't know where Wardlow and Lakewood bl are, get out. Quickly.

Don't let the lady in charge of the TSA pre check line convince you that you can't take kids under 12 with you. Look it up - it's allowed
new terminal by the gates is quite the charmer. sushi bar and wine bar inside is absolutely not bad. coffee bar next door is meh, but, overall, the terminal is worthy of hanging out. much improved!

The place is redone and looks beautiful. Still short lines and food options are a bit better. Very clean
James CitronMarch 11, 2012While no Starbucks is here, there is one about a mile on Bellflower from the airport. Worth heading there as there is little food at the airport!
Quick access to rental car pickup/drop off and security lines are usually a breeze!
Christopher JusticeOctober 21, 2011The bathrooms are outside of the gate area in the temporary JetBlue terminal. There are also two sets of bathrooms so if you see a line, walk around the back for more restrooms.
Nice little airport with super fast security (holidays are the exception but still faster than LAX); the long beach-based JetBlue crew are also very nice. :)
