After years of R&D, it was here where 4SQ's "Pilgrim" technology *actually worked* for the very first time (Aug 16, 2013). This was Foursquare's "invented the Flux Capacitor" moment. :)
Everything is basically heaven in your mouth here: Pistachio, Dreaming Princess, Southern Red Velvet, and Carrot Cake. Wait is a bit long if there's a line so prepare to just stand there... Standing.
Get a slice of the Black and White cake To Go. Bring it home as a surprise treat for your wife. It will totally erase all the shit you're in trouble for. Yeah, it's that good.
We ordered red velvet and carrot cupcakes and raspberry and Nutella cheesecakes. Everything tasty. We went on a Sunday morning, so there was no line, and the attendance was super quick.
One of the best bakeries in NYC. Cookie DoughCake slice was tremendous, possibly the best cake I’ve ever had. Brooklyn Blackout cupcake was very good but the cake of the cupcake was not too good.
Hands down the best vanilla beancake I've ever had. The slices of cake are more expensive then the cupcakes, but worth it. The layers of icing make the cake more moist and delicious then cupcake imho
Not just a little cupcake bakeshop, the gluten freepistachiocheesecake is pretty decent as well! Love that it's not so sugary sweet unlike most American bakes.
Banana pudding was scrumptious. They have adorable single-serving cheesecakes in a variety of flavors, and are famous for their black and white cupcakes.
They have an iced chai latte perfect for humid summer days, had it with almond milk (ran out of soy) and it tasted like horchata… ?anyway im making it my go-to drink!
Most of their cakes also come as a cupcake, so try them first to see what you like since the cake portions are big. Everything is delicious though, you can't go wrong.
What you get here are cupcakes with no preservatives or shortening- you'll notice in taste and texture. The carrot cupcake was freshly soft and top cream was delicious.
They offer a lot for a bakery including breakfast/early lunch options (oatmeal, too). Atmosphere and brand are super cohesive. Staff are helpful and listen. Cakes look awesome, so I stay away.
Umm...they have an adorable little ice cream cart in the summer (parked just outside of the shop) and the red velvet is AH-MAZING. There's red velvet cake IN IT. Yeah. I know.
Cupcakes and beyond… all homemadesweet treats in the sweetest neighborhood with shopping all around you. And in our opinion, it’s better than Magnolia!- Torrey, Copy/Editorial Director
Love comes in bite sizes (literally) at Little Cupcake Bakeshop which specializes in baking traditional American desserts, using only the freshest ingredients. Independence is a state of mind.
Adorable and seriously one of the best bakeries in town! I got the simple but utterly divine vanilla cupcake w/ chocolate frosting. Moist, not too sweet, and had the perfect crumb!
A must try cupcake shop. Our favorites are the red velvet, the carrot and the "mott" street (a tiramisu inspired cupcake) which can all be washed down with some fantastic Illy coffee!
I got the Nutella cheesecake pod for my lady who insisted I shouldn't. I told her that she would love it, even though I'd never had it. Turns out I was right. Get it for someone you're sweet on.
