- Ali KimbrellMay 28, 2013Starbucks has strange hours. The view from the 15th floor is beautiful. Beds are small but comfy.
- Mark SmithOctober 6, 2012Superior room view on the river side is great. Shame about the outdated room and nuts A/C system that won't pump out hot air in the fall...
- Ray SkwarekJune 9, 2012I have stayed at this hotel once or twice per year for many years. The service and cleanliness has declined in the past several years that I will stay elsewhere the next time.
- Renato KogaAugust 9, 2013Very dated hotel. By luck I got a large corner room. But no LCD TV! Also there is nothing around to hang out at night. Stayed here because it is close to the National Mall but I regret it
- LeAnn TaylorOctober 24, 2012Great location. Dated rooms, nice view of city, sketchy staff, boring for us youngsters. Grab a metro card and roam... refuse to return.
- Meghan BilskiNovember 20, 2012Eh not the best...eat downstairs st food court! Great view! But trains run early morning! Did not get good sleep!
- Daily specials on food and drinks in the lobby bar from 4pm to 7pm.
- Walt MickensMarch 23, 2013Great location. Foggy Bottom food was OK and didn't seem to be unreasonAbly priced. Room is ok. Overall, great location and ok hotel for the Internet special rate of $92 / night
- RoskoRGVOctober 10, 2011The hotel is average room, not updated, prices are not old though. Plaza is going through renovations but over all 3 blocks from The Smithsonian Mall, lower level Metro access and food court.
- LisaMay 21, 2010The staff were friendly and efficent. There is a lobby area Starbucks with limited hours but excellent coffee.
- Kendall FowlerMay 26, 2012This hotel is alright. Close to the metro and we got free breakfast which helped. Nothing to do at night for younger people.
- The Promenade renovation is nearing completion but only two restaurants have reopened.
- The prices at Foggy Brewpub were pretty steep for a drink. $9 there are a couple of places to eat under the hotel on the way to Metro.
- This place needs a renovation, 1980's style business hotel with 2010 prices.
- Ray SkwarekJune 27, 2011The quality of the TV picture is very poor in all the rooms, and the channel selection is very limited. Also, the food and service leaves a lot to be desired. Much better hotel choices in DC.
- Renovating the Promenade but you can still walk through to the Metro.
- Jeff StefancicJuly 9, 2012Not impressed. Poor temp control in guest and meeting rooms. Spotty WI-Fi coverage in meeting rooms. Overpriced food and beverage offerings. Better options out there in DC.
- Grant RapaportNovember 9, 2011The rooms are dated and ragged. Beds small. Poor service. Food ok in the grill. Pool is reminiscent of off the strip Vegas. Parking 40 bucks extra per day. Won't be back. Yuk
- Arteal WestSeptember 26, 2010This is the worst business class hotel we have stayed it. The staff is nice but not always helpful. The gym is nice, but in room amenities are below par. Not even a toilet paper holder in our room.
- Nikki TitusAugust 20, 2012Check your credit card after checkout- lots of "accidental charges" and slow refunds.
- Tracy CoogleApril 5, 2010Pizza delivery (not in any hotel info): 202-544-7272 Papa John's, 202-547-3838 Domino's.
- I'd stay away from the Foggy Brewpub in the lobby. The prices are outrageous and the food is gross!
