Historic and Protected Site · Vieux-Montréal · 147 tips and reviews
Philippe Miron: One of the great place in Montreal. Usually lot of activities all year long (skating, Igloofest, fireworks, museums, beach, etc.). The bike path that follows Canal Lachine is also really great.
Nelson Loza: go ahead and get a few dégustations to sample some of all the in-house brews…the rose d'hibiscus & péché mortel are some all-time favorites!
Turkish Airlines: Mont Royal is the gem of Montreal! During your vacation, get ready for an unforgettable experience as you enjoy views of the cityscape at 234m, the highest point of the park.
Office Supply Store · Plateau-Mont-Royal · 20 tips and reviews
Alex Watson: My favourite store in Montreal, it's a really wonderful place. Great range - Rhodia, Moleskine, Field Notes, lots of random Japanese / HK stationery - and just a nice atmosphere.
Simon Favreau-Lessard: $5 cover, full featured bar with a giant collection of board games with a staff that will help you pick and explain a game you'll love. What an amazing concept.
Farmers Market · Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie · 185 tips and reviews
Sophie Trudel: Best farmers market in the country. You'll find everything to pickle summer's harvest, make an enormous amount of tomato sauce or treat someone with Quebec made delicacies.

Café · Plateau-Mont-Royal · 43 tips and reviews
Francis Duval: Délicieux café Forty Ninth Parallel. Le décor est magnifique, l'endroit est par contre petit. La terrasse est tellement agréable, on se sent comme dans sa cour. Will go back.
Peter Lindberg: Interesting to see an old bank repurposed for a café & coworking space. Good coffee, on beans from Cut Coffee in Toronto. Bagels from Fairmount, also good. A bit of a tourist spectacle, though.

Sandwich Spot · Vieux-Montréal · 308 tips and reviews
Tim Julien: Crunchy, gooey cubano is the move here. It gets crowded, so order take-out in the back and stroll to the river - there are good picnic tables there.

Coffee Shop · Plateau-Mont-Royal · 131 tips and reviews
Doc Searls: Outstanding coffees and perfect atmosphere, except for absent AC on hot days and music on the loud side. The two stalls in the unisex head are also not made for tall persons.

Café · Plateau-Mont-Royal · 117 tips and reviews
Ada Juristovski: This had to be my favourite cafe in all of Montreal, if for nothing more than the LEGENDARY cookies (the rumours are true) and the incredibly cute, incredibly bilingual baristas.
Cocktail Bar · Plateau-Mont-Royal · 101 tips and reviews
Victoria U.: A little dangerous, a little dark, this place has an amazing old fashioned to go with its killer vibes. It's behind a black unmarked door next to Rotisserie Romados.
