This was a great place to spend a few hours on a hot and humid afternoon! So many displays and areas to see. I loved it, more people need to visit this place.

Great place to take family and spend the afternoon. Free admission and the staff was friendly. I really enjoyed the civil war exhibit.

Check out some classic Iowa nostalgia at the Iowa State Historical Building. Added bonus, admission is free! Even better added bonus, there is a gift shop with decent merchandise on-site.
