Get the oyster sampler, minuet is fabulous but slightly eclipsed by the cocktail sauce, and watch out for the horseradish - holy hell don't inhale - freshest oysters possible
Sit outside for view of the bridge at night. Assorted oysters, from ca and wa right now. Clam chowder had ton of clams but soup itself was watery, ok flavor

If you can only try one clam chowder while in SF make it this one! And the steamed mussels are amazing.... skip the grilled cheese and get the mussels instead!
You have to get there before 7:30 at least, maybe earlier on weekends, there was a line of 6 or 7 parties to get in and you have to be seated by 8 so you get served.
They are closing down mid-January 2014 to expand. Will reopen in April. Greg has promised to keep the ambiance and food quality up to its current standards if not, dare I say, it could be even better!
