- The new breakfast sandwich Mecca of the West Village, with amazing fresh pastries too. Great for brunch or breakfast. The bodega breakfast sandwich and the beer cured salmon on a pretzel role.
- Ashley ChanFebruary 19, 2017The seaweed bucatini is one of the best pastas I've had in NY because of its incredible flavor. The burrata dish is also great. I regret not getting the tasting menu; definitely better value! 9/10
- Kiwi WangMay 5, 2017Simple, creative, delicious food. Never lazy about their flavors. Never have had a bad meal here. Mushroom melt for lunch, and pastas at dinner are highly recommended.
- At breakfast go for the good stuff and don't try to eat healthy. You will regret it
- Sam BearDecember 27, 2015The Bodega -- sausage, egg, cheese, and a spicy "special" sauce on a black-pepper biscuit -- might be the most decadent and delicious breakfast sandwich in NY.
- Jeff WooJanuary 17, 2016The duck meatball sando is a better lunch option than the pastrami (a bit dry). The real stars are the breakfast sandwiches, including my fave: Hickory Town
- Chad HornerMarch 25, 2016the bodega sandwich is the early favorite - sausage, egg and cheese on a crispy pepper and sage biscuit; has a bit of spice already, but hot sauce on the side is provided
- Kay TeoSeptember 9, 2017Get the beet steak if you want to experience this humble vegetable done in four or more excellent ways
- Taylor MichieJanuary 29, 2017Really cool space, the right mix between homey and modern. You should go for a breakfast sandwich (prob the Bodega) and an order of Old Bay potatoes on the side.
- The Bodega breakfast sandwich with malted sausage, aged cheddar, black pepper sauce and a grilled jalapeño on the side is incredible. Oh it's on a soft and flakey biscuit to boot.

- Roniel TesslerApril 7, 2019The orange poppy cake is dense, moist perfection. The baked eggs is really just a bean dish in disguise, so be advised. The bread, as always, exceptional.
- The best breakfast sandwiches around. The Bodega is great, but the Pastrami Hash is definitely the winner.
- Cauliflower caramel pasta, broccoli, duck and oat pasta bolognese were all fabulous. Great restaurant! I will definitely return. Maple bread was so moist!
- KendalJanuary 14, 2016I definitely recommend The Bodega breakfast sandwich. The special sauce is delicious. Portion looks small but the homemade biscuit makes it satisfyingly filling.
- Melissa RosenthalMay 9, 2016Fantastic decor and even better food. The burrata, beef tartare, and eel toast were all extremely memorable.
- J.R. ReedOctober 30, 2017Outstanding breakfast sandwiches, great for a small group but go between 11 and 1130a on the weekends!

- Emily WilsonDecember 27, 2015A nice new addition to the neighborhood. The pastrami sandwich is particularly good. The salads aren't great. IMO, they should be simpler and there should be more of them.
- Kathleen YanolatosJuly 12, 2016Get the gnocchi. Get the seaweed bucatini. Get the duck. Heck, just get everything.
- Rob AtkinsonMay 11, 2016Duck meatball sandwich is rich but worth it. Don't let the liver spread put you off, it's just to add richness and not an overpowering taste
- All of our food was delicious: octopus & burrata appetizers, duck and beet steak main courses. Except for dessert. Skip that.
- MarcNovember 19, 2019Eater: Get the salt bagel - salt gently crunches without overwhelming one’s tongue, electrolyte balance, or cardiovascular system. And laced inside is dose of cracked black pepper.
- The chef's tasting menu was superb. Everything was delicious, seasonal, and fresh.
- This place has awesome chocolate croissants but i wasnt a big fan of the salmon on the tartines
- Brian ChevyApril 8, 2016My perfect order: crispy broccoli (fermented chow chow!), razor clams, tripe, seaweed bucatini, anadama and the beef
- Colin AdamsMay 19, 2016The biscuit sandwich is great, and the coffee was better than I expected for a place where it isn't the focus. The décor is great too!

- Ruby NJanuary 2, 2016The grilled cheese, duck meatball sandwich, and the hickory were all awesome. Gets crowded and takes forever for them to set a table. Service is slow.
- Rory ParnessJuly 15, 2016Most of the tips talk about breakfast but this place does serious dinner. Broccoli tempura and steak are a killer app/main combo
- julia tJanuary 13, 2016Love the brunch portions. The forager sandwich was great. The grilled cheese didn't quite suit. Pretty good with a kid.
