if you're on Sprint, don't plan on using your data... turn it off and save your battery.
The WiFi here is not free (unless you're looking for tourist/flight/similar info - free surfing is restricted to a list of sites). Boo!
Expect to do a lot of walking with your luggage. LOL Duffle bags aren't fun to carry in this Airport!

Nicest TSA agents in the whole world..must be the Southern in 'em
Loiter near A-Bar between gates A29 and A28 and use their free unrestricted WiFi.
For a good meal, try One Flew South in terminal e - pork belly sliders...YUM
Avoid D gate food...stop at B, get a bite and then get to your gate.
To avoid a checked luggage fee, board last onto your flight and they will stow your roll aways for free.
Check out the cell phone waiting area only on South terminal
Very rarely are my flights late through here. Unlike DFW, ATL has its shit together.
Daily and hourly parking closed. Beware and plan for extra time.

Tip for the airport authority...drop all of the names....ATL International works just fine. No need to keep naming terminals, kind of cheesy.
Usually less than 30 minutes through security, but check wait times at different check points when you enter.

Get a Gold Delta Skymiles card at one of the kiosks... 25K miles instantly for a free flight!
Security can be a bear so plan MORE than an hour for Domestic flights and 2 1/2-3 of International Flights to be at airport!!
Most flights of any US airport, be mindful though of traffic in and out of the airport. Security can be very slow but a ideal hub to travel anywhere globally
Remember to treat ppl the way you want and deserve to be treated.
JeannieAugust 6, 2012There is another TSA checkpoint at the north terminal if your flight leaves from a T gate. Lines may be shorter there.
B-iconic has those ballet slipper shoes to help relieve your blistered, high heel abused feet! Ahhhh
