One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I recommend going for lunch when the full dim sum menu is available. The seafood dumplings are all amazing; my favorite was the prawn and chinese chives.
Amazing Dim Sum. Loved the Orchid tea. Best steamed pork buns. Really enjoyed the sticky rice with chicken & seafood soup dumpling. Service was uneven, either no one or 5 people waiting on you.
The duck salad was the best duck salad I've ever had. The Pipa duck was simple but one of the best slices of roast duck ever. If you can, get Paul as your server, as he is awesome.
The dim sum are a must, along with the crispy duck salad! Honestly, everything that I tried was very well prepared. In my opinion, a great trendy place with many options to suit anyone.
Hakkasan is a downtown must. It’s a wee bit pricey, but the dim sum and crispy duck salad are worth the G’s, as are their cute savory daikon pastries designed to look like tiny carrots. Read more
It's expensive, but you can dine here reasonably if you pick the right things. Fried rice ($5), Jasmine Smoked Ribs ($18), and a couple vegetable dishes (~$10) was a perfect light dinner for 2.
Go outside your comfort zone!!! It's so worth it!!! Agree with the crispy duck salad and chocolate orange dessert- both were out of this world. For the dim sum the black pepper is kind of spicy.
Food is excellent. I recommend the dumpling platter, beef in merlot sauce and especially the spicy prawns. The tofu & mushroom dish is also fantastic. Finally, the udon noodles with duck!
Trendy, beautiful interior space--don't let the view from the street fool you. $$$, but food and drink list are scrumptious! Good for the experience & people watching when you want to treat yourself.
You can't leave the place without enjoy the crispy duck salad, the dim sum (steem and fried) and the chocolate and blood orange desert.... Are amazing!!!
Crystal dumplings are delightful Oompa Loompas—densely packed but delicate, with earthly morels. Chinese chive and shrimp dumplings burst with green onions and shellfish.
The Cod with the champagne is amazing, as is the halibut. The sweet and sour pork is good but not exceptional but overall experience was very good. Lovely atmosphere.
Looks & feels like an outdated Vegas club meets cheesy restaurant. Service is very slow but trying. Ribs fall off bone, food is generally quite good. Lychee martinis are good—ask for actual lychees.
Avoid the fried squid, it’s rubbery. Everything is ok, asparagus and lotus root is not bad, overall the food is evocative of the qualities found in a Cheesecake Factory or a PF Chang’s
