Leisurely service,allow +time. Recommend"quartino"size glass of wine (ie: glass-&-a-half);nice Italian selection by the glass,altho you're on yr own re:advice on selection. Complex/grt salads.

Sautéed zucchini blossoms filled with mozzarella, sheep's milk ricotta & marjoram. Following prosciutto Parma with Cantaloupe. I love my NYC summer lunches!

Always get the meatballs. Pasta’s are excellent and so are the pizza’s. Really one of the best places on new york.

Order a salad and pizza and share. Great daily specials to mix things up. Good choice for a work lunch, relatively quiet.

Overall grade=B. Risotto was good but not great. Artichoke looked odd and as a baker was surprised that a restaurant would serve anything that looked like the apple tart thay served us.

we asked the bartender for a suggestion for dinner and he refused to mention another business. Mind you we were there for 2 hrs order apps, and drinks, plus our bill was $200.

unless ur white and over 50, don't expect great service. Too many good Italian restaurants in NYC to deal with that crap.
