While the Ambiance is slightly on the Hipster/Yuppy side of things, they do have good food on the brunch menu. Would recommend the Eggs Benedict with ham or the Chicken and Waffles.

Love wine flights, but don't care for the burger. Gideon Wells definitely has the best burger in Lincoln Square with good quality meet and cooked the way you prefer.

At first, I did not like it here, but I've been won over. The charcuterie flights outshine pretty much everything else on the menu, though the chicken & waffles at brunch are fantastic.

Chicken burger with fennel, apple and cheese is v satisfying in place of a burger or egg sandwich. Or just cause it sounds good.

One of the best wine and beer lists on the north side. Wonderful place to hang out, either in a booth, at a table or at the bar.

As a Canadian, I'm a lover of poutine. Their take is worth trying; The duck confit is a great add but it needs curds not their cheddar sauce and it's too salty for my taste.

Steak Burritos (Bison!) are a quality choice, but go for the Fried Chicken & Waffle. Don't get the bacon, it's always too crispy. Excellent coffee.
