- Batya SeguinOctober 28, 2016Really like how clean it is here. The brisket was good. Beans, coleslaw, corn, bread and cheese all good. Good tea (unsweet) was good. My chopped brisket sandwich had a sour taste I didn't care for.
- Kristine TagueDecember 28, 2013Skip the Mac n cheese and pickles. I got the chopped beef, it was ok. The pork chops are amazing. Potatoes are great too, lots of pick as you go toppings. Yum!
- David PittsMay 26, 2015Pork ribs are the way to go, but only get a couple because they fill you up double quick. Jalapeño Mac and cheese is lights out as well. Don't forget free beans!
- Batya SeguinOctober 28, 2016The people here are very nice. Cleaner than any Coopers I have been to. The one in Llano could take some lessons on that.
- Fischer Real Estate ServicesFebruary 9, 2012Come hungry, these guys know how to fill a plate up with fresh smoked barbecue. Family style benches to eat at and a great place to start the evening with friends.
- Cathy DempseyJanuary 12, 2014Boneless porkchop was succulent; comes with a baked potato. Hubby got the chopped brisket sandwich -- nasty! Like a sloppy Joe. (But it was half the price of my chop.) Shiner beer was good!
- Lara OlsonNovember 2, 2018This no-frills barbecue joint is about as down-home as you can get. The pork chop will make you cry tears of joy and forever ruin you for any other pork chop in the future.
- John HumphreyApril 30, 2016Freaking awesome place. Best beef rib I ever had. It's huge. 1 large one will do you.
- Justin BarkerMarch 21, 2016Lean brisket was an option if you ask. They were a little heavy handed (1/4 lbs came out 1/2 lbs) but delicious!
- Scott JarvisMarch 5, 2015Best BBQ in FW. Modeled after the terrific original. Ask for your Q dunked.
- Sam CatheyNovember 28, 2011They have an all you can eat plate for $11 otherwise you will be flying blind and this place is NOT cheap - it for corn, potato salad, slice of brisket ($4.03), slice of pork ($4.42) & a coke $17.24
- nora HOctober 5, 2010If its a sunny cool day, sit your butt outside the view and feel is so laid back. The pork rib's were just right! My taste buds thanked me after :)
- Amby AyatiMarch 4, 2018I thought since this restaurant was rather $$$ and in the Stockyards, it’d be great BBQ. It wasn’t! My biggest disappointment was the watery “homemade” BBQ sauce! That was not a Texas BBQ sauce!!👎🏾
- katy ramseyMarch 8, 2015Love the blackberry cobbler and the ice tea. Not so impressed with the BBQ and hate the sauce.
- Linda BJanuary 24, 2022Quite the ft worth staple, butcher paper for plates and smells so good. Meat was good but the BBQ sauce was vinegar like and thin. Not my favorite.
- John HammackNovember 16, 2011Killer Pork Chop for sure. And, if you want to put your pancreas in overtime, get the Pecan Cobbler
- Tammy BakerJune 3, 2012Saw Lyle Lovett eating here today . I ask to take a picture with him ,we did . he wad very nice !
- TV Food MapsSeptember 3, 2014Check out Cooper's Old Time Pit BBQ as seen on Bizarre Foods America Read more
- betsy von awesomeMay 26, 2011Orders beef ribs with brisket. Both on the salty side. I spent $20 for a cob of corn and water. At least the beans were free.
- Jacqueline LousierOctober 12, 2013The brisket was excellent, but the meals are overpriced for what you get, Skip the ribs,
- Fri lunch special: Boneless pork chop and baked potato. Awesome! Get there early.
- Haley VingsnessNovember 24, 2014Super greasy. The marbled brisket was tasty but I had the worst heartburn ever about 2 hours later.
