Really like how clean it is here. The brisket was good. Beans, coleslaw, corn, bread and cheese all good. Good tea (unsweet) was good. My chopped brisket sandwich had a sour taste I didn't care for.
Skip the Mac n cheese and pickles. I got the chopped beef, it was ok. The pork chops are amazing. Potatoes are great too, lots of pick as you go toppings. Yum!
Pork ribs are the way to go, but only get a couple because they fill you up double quick. JalapeñoMac and cheese is lights out as well. Don't forget free beans!
Come hungry, these guys know how to fill a plate up with fresh smoked barbecue. Family stylebenches to eat at and a great place to start the evening with friends.
Bonelessporkchop was succulent; comes with a baked potato. Hubby got the chopped brisket sandwich -- nasty! Like a sloppy Joe. (But it was half the price of my chop.) Shiner beer was good!
This no-frills barbecue joint is about as down-home as you can get. The pork chop will make you cry tears of joy and forever ruin you for any other pork chop in the future.
They have an all you can eat plate for $11 otherwise you will be flying blind and this place is NOT cheap - it for corn, potato salad, slice of brisket ($4.03), slice of pork ($4.42) & a coke $17.24
I thought since this restaurant was rather $$$ and in the Stockyards, it’d be great BBQ. It wasn’t! My biggest disappointment was the watery “homemade” BBQ sauce! That was not a Texas BBQ sauce!!👎🏾
