Charming and beautiful (petfriendly) terrace, friendly staff and the food was among the best we had in New Orleans. Delicious. We will definitely come back here.
Favorites: catfish sandwich, shrimp and grits, cochon de lait, only complaint was the French toast was a bit dense and dry, make a reservation and request the courtyard
Gumbo was excellent, couchon de lait very garlicky, yummy, and huge! The star of the meal was the Chocolate meltingcake with chicorycoffee ice cream- amazing!! We might have to come to get it again!
The courtyardcocktail, which changes regularly, was a superb start (a Moscow mulevariation that still haunts me). The food was all superlative, particularly the creole poutin, shrimp grits, gumbo.
Gorgeous courtyard with some good food. The crawfishlinguine, shrimp and grits, and gumbo are tasty! The 9 layer cake is good too but a little too sweet.
A great place to bring a date. The Chicken gumbo was absolutely incredible. I enjoyed the ryecocktail as well, but it was a little too sweet. You really can't go wrong with the menu.
The Smoked Salmon Smorrebro on Challah bread with a side arugula salad w/ fresh dill and cherry tomatoes was just perfect. Sit outside if you can, the courtyard is adorable!
South side Fizz and Ruby Slipper cocktails refreshing and not too sweet. Shrimp and gritssmall plate just right for lunch and very tasty with a bit of spice to it
The seating ladies weren't very professional but our server was delightful! The brunch menu and cocktails were great!! The outdoor seating is quite lovely but can get hot in the summer.
Absolutely yummy! I can also say that the cornlinguini (forgive me for not remembering the exact name) was amazing.... And so was the berry crisp with vanilla bean ice cream!!
Tip: Make reservations bc they have quite a bit of wait. It's the prettiest little place ever. Didn't have enough time to wait 45 minutes but next time will plan for this.
Overrated I thought when there's so much good cheap food around. I was hoping for and craving super clean, produce driven cooking. I got greasy crab cakes and pasta with an overly sweet Riesling
